BemerkungenI worked night shift for several years and have seen several meteors flash and fragment but never one so bright. There was a storm about 15 miles to the North that I was watching on radar at the time so it’s hard to say if the noise was from the thunder or the meteor. It was so bright and seemed so close that I called my dog away from the window and moved to the other side of the room to get away from the windows.
