BemerkungenAlmost no light pollution and clear conditions and during a particularly active night of aurora. I was driving and took a screenshot of my gps map almost immediately after seeing it, as soon as it was safe to do so, which is how I estimated the location and recorded the timestamp. However, I'm not 100% sure which direction I was facing the moment of the fireball, as the road had curves, but I was driving south. I think I was going around a curve such that I was pointed left as it was happening and turned towards the right shortly afterwards. It was much brighter than the aurora, and appeared almost perfectly circular with a fiery train of sparkles.

BemerkungenIt looked like large hunks of yellow sparkles falling off the back, like melting metal dripping off a burning building.
