BemerkungenThe duration felt around a second long. I don't know it's full duration as it traveled behind a treeline obscuring my view. I observed it with my naked eyes. The core was bright white and the tail was the color of a flame. Observed from the ground the tail appeared to be around a quarter inch wide. It resembled a fireworks comet except the tail was shorter, fuller, and more consistent (not sparkly). I live in Orlando, where fireworks go off nightly and light pollution is abundant, so seeing something that wasn't just a thin, distant streak across the sky was absolutely amazing. It took a couple of minutes before I realized my mouth was still open after seeing it and went back inside The time I entered might be off by a minute (maybe 1:55 AM instead of 1:56 AM) because I didn't look at the clock until shortly after coming inside. I hope with people watching the sky for the green comet that others were able to see it too. Please let me know if I can provide any other information. Have a lovely weekend!
