Don't know if it was a meteor or comet? Had a very bright ball shaped "head" with a very visible and long "fuzzy" appearing tail behind it as it shot across the sky. Wasn't falling straight down, but was shooting across the sky with just a slight downward direction. I never had seen a meteor that large so don't believe it was a meteor.
