BemerkungenThis is a great spot to observe…meteors. The church has a light on it & there is a highway in front of it -but even with that for some reason we see many meteors here. I live about 8 miles away & don’t see them as well there..we are on flat higher ground at the church..but it’s darker where I live. We also saw the Starlink train go over when it launched…looked like they were right above us…so per close..lol..we counted 23 going over….right when we went outside..it was also on a Thursday about the same time. I also witnessed the big Nov 15th 2019 event that was blue white light with sonic boom & second one (echo) about 4 minutes later. That one was bright orange as it went over at our property (about 8 miles from this location) and it felt like it lasted even longer and was closer. (Thought it was an airplane on fire/crash at first). We live on a 40 acre lake-it was the coolest one I’ve witnessed. (Just happened to be getting out of my car right at the time it flashed & turned around to see the giant fire ball. It was the largest one I’ve ever seen. (Larger then this one). The one tonight was the first one I’ve ever seen of this color…like a Fuchsia purple..very impressive!!

BemerkungenIt was a glowing fuchsia/purple..pink & then orange yellow (fire ball) the smoke went from yellow to white in a long glowing stream..(maybe pieces breaking up?) then the smoke trail hung in the air. The smoke was thick (unusually wide) and you could still see it lingering where we first saw it coming at us (over the barn) till it crossed over us & the church. Never seen anything like this with the purple fireball & such thick smoke. We had one go over last Thursday at about same time. (I didn’t see that one but they said it was big too but regular yellow/orange not purple). This is a really great location & time to see them. I usually don’t report them but this one was fantastic!!
