BemerkungenIt was a rare enough occurrence , I figured it was important enough to make a report of it. I'm 44 yrs old and I'd say it was the caliber meteorite you'd avg seeing once every 5-8 years. It was a good one, hope it doesn't have a sibling close behind it...haha...thanks!!

Länge
BemerkungenIt wasn't the usual long straight quick kind, it was kind of short and thick and not really the classic straight(laser beam straight) type. Not uniform is best I can describe with a couple large "sparks" appearing in the trail behind it. Kinda like a couple pieces broke away.

BemerkungenI seemed like it came straight down on top of us? Most meteorites look like they zip across the sky kinda parallel with sky? This was south east of me but came in straight up and down if that makes sense? Main body flashed ,then tail had the 2 or 3 "sparks" break off behind it in the tail.
