BemerkungenMy brother Rick and I were doing are normal satellite gazing on the house deck and we were both lucky enough to be looking at the sky at the exact location/time the meteor appeared. It came in from the east and slanted down to the right. It seemed lower in the sky than any other meteor I've ever seen before and you could definitely see the front of it burning. Not that it was throwing off debris but you could discern that the front was burning. And the light from the burn lit up the vapor trail about 5 degrees behind it grey/light grey as it flew across the sky. My brother and I went over what we each saw.Truly a once in a lifetime experience! but not giving up hope seeing more, though.. wow... my brother and I are still talking about it this morning.
